Dream Lab „extra soft“

Recreation from: burden 🤯

With the help of: extra soft 💭

To create: adventure 🌄

Imagination eco-tourism is practiced in the Dream Lab. Three dreamers can travel together to a place of longing. At the entrance, everyone scans the barcode on the table with their smartphone and logs into the lab with all their data. You enter the room through the Burden Bow. A wellcome drink sweetens the immersion. You hop to one of the three booths on the soft, rubbery flooring. In the velvety changing room, you swap your uncomfortable clothes for pyjamas. Scented trees grow in the lab and as soon as you lie down on the bad, you immerse yourself in the adventure calculated from the data of the tree dreamers…with almost no CO2 emissions.

Recreation Areas is a series of 1:100 scale miniatures, an artwork by U5, 2019 ongoing.  Recreation Areas are islands that mimic or suggest a place. Impulse for a new recreation area can be a small found object, like a stone, a rice cracker, a sock or a dowel. They are equipped with tables, benches, plants, ponds, billboards, barriers, etc. Recreation Areas are objects of power. They are substitutes for places and non-places full of fantasy and memories, they can balance your life in turbulent times.
